This weekend was a busy one. Friday night we went to a barbeque place after work. After that, we went to a Japanese place for some sake. Oh boy, maybe we shouldn't drink sake anymore...We talked with some Korean people we met there, had lots of sake and more than enough soju. I learned that I actually kind of like the taste of sake, which is a terrible thing to admit, haha. We went to a norebang and it was the weirdest and drunkest I have ever seen a group of people. For one, only Nick and I remember vaguely what happened at norebang. Everyone else was not so lucky. Anyway, after all was said and done we made it home safely at around 4am. Exit stage right.
Saturday was a very busy day. Woke up around noon and then we made hungover tracks for downtown. We browsed pretty much every store in that entire area and I ended up getting two t-shirts, a cardigan and a bag. All for around $70 Canadian which is not bad at all. In the evening we met up with everyone at a place called Maya's for some Indian food, which was awesome by the way. After that, shenanigans followed in many locales of downtown. I got home at around 7am.
Today I made another trip to downtown and ended up not getting anything. A little bit of a waste, I suppose. However, I do now have a clearer picture of the area than I did before. I just feel overtired and sore all over. I think a good night's rest will help me out.
Anyway, it's back to school tomorrow and off to another week of teaching in wonderful Daegu. Apparently we're going to be hitting a lot of rain in June. Good thing I bought a kickass umbrella.
Later folks.
Oh my goodness!!!! :-) You wild Canadian bunch!! :-)
